Kyle Jordan:

Born in Vail, CO, I've been surrounded by mountains and streams my entire life. At 14 I caught my first fish on a fly rod and the obsession took over. Since then I’ve only wanted to dig deeper and continue progressing. I realized I wanted to pursue fly-fishing as a career. But I also know it’s hard to make a living outside of summer. The ski industry has always been a passion of mine as well, which is hard to make a living outside of winter. I hope to combine both of my passions in their different seasons in order to make a living.

Sabrina Erdmann:

Born and raised in Fishers, Indiana, has never stopped my love for snowboarding. My dad bought my first board when I was 9 years old, and I instantly fell in love with the sport. Though living in Indiana limited my options boarding on small hills and occasionally making trips to Perfect North Slopes, my passion never grew short. When I got into high school, I joined the Ski & Snowboard club and got to spend my winter weekends on the slopes! I knew that I wanted to be involved with this sport and pursue a career where I could be apart of something that I love, and that is when I found CMC.

Jay Howard:

My name is Jay Howard and I’m a full time skier from Fenton, Michigan. I moved to Steamboat Springs last August and I couldn’t be happier with my choice to come to CMC for the Ski and Snowboard
program. The best part about being in this program is that I actually enjoy my homework and going to class because it’s all about what I love doing every single day anyways. You also get a ton of time to ski during the day because most of the classes are scheduled later at night so I don’t think I could be happier.

Michael Harmon:

Hi, I was born and raised in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Growing up and still currently I love spending time playing sports and being outside in the mountains. Believe it or not a lot of kids in my high school were as passionate about skiing as I was, so I decided that’s what I want to do in my future. I also love playing team sports, eating, playing instruments,  and just being outside.

Cole Szunko:

My name is Cole, I was born and raised in Traverse City Michigan. I am a sophomore studying Business at CMC this semester. Last year I went to Northern Michigan University where I got suspended for doing a kickflip off the dean's car. I love to snowboard and skateboard and I also have a very small (microscopic) T-shirt brand called Public Safety.

Randy McGrann:
I was raised in Western Montana, frequently in the mountains skiing, hiking, and fishing. I grew a love for nature and the outdoors simply by being outside most of the time. I especially developed a love for skiing at my home mountain, Lost Trail Powder Mountain. I moved to Colorado to broaden my horizons and catch some more sick snow waves!

Nathan McCarty:

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I moved to Steamboat to gain further insight into the ski industry and live amongst other ski bums.  I’ve been skiing since I was 2 and it’s been my passion ever since. I competed in slopestyle skiing for a few years and it gave me the opportunity to travel around the country and ski many new resorts.  This school has been a great fit for me, the people here are amazing and so is this course.

Riley Myers:

I was born and raised in a small town in Michigan called South Lyon. I grew up riding a small hill called Mt. Brighton, and all I used to ride was rope tows.  I choose to come to CMC because of the location. Steamboat springs looked like the coolest place and I’d ever seen and I had never been there before. The SKB program was so unique and so different from anything in Michigan and it definitely made me realize that I wanted to work in the Snow sports industry.  Living in the mountains was always a dream of mine and making it happen was a check off my bucket list.

Spencer Thomson:

I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and I love to snowboard. I grew up going to the mountains as frequently as possible. When I graduated High School I quickly moved to the mountains where I taught snowboarding for 4 years prior to coming to CMC. I decided to come to CMC to peruse the ski and snowboard business degree along with the guide cert, these unique opportunities intrigued me enough to look in to CMC more, when I found out how cheep it was I was sold. I have been here 3 months and I am loving every day! My classes are great, the people I have met are awesome and steamboat is a beautiful place to call home!

Kerric Stevens:

Hello, my name is Kerric Stevens. I am from Andover, MA and have been skiing since I was 4 years old. After highschool, I moved to Jackson Hole and spent two years being a ski bum. I fell in love with the mountains and skiing so much I became a ski and event photographer, and that is when my career started. From there, I moved to Keene, NH to become an outdoor director for a camp in the woods and that is when I started pursuing a degree in outdoor education. I found CMC and applied after a year of working in the woods. I moved out to Steamboat 2 years ago and have been slowly expanding my degrees from OE, Sus, Anthropology, and most recently SKB. I love the mountains and plan to never leave.
