Course description: 

Introduces design and manufacturing aspects of ski equipment and clothing. Performance, safety, materials, graphics and packaging are covered.

Course Competencies and Objectives:

  • Discuss factors that influence the location of a ski manufacturing business.

  • Discuss trends and factors influencing the design, construction, manufacturing of ski goods.

  • Discuss material selection in the manufacturing of ski goods.

  • Determine market selections.

  • Determine site location for manufacturing
