Colorado Mountain College has partnered with SnowSports Industries America (SIA) to create the industry's first nationwide certification and testing center for the snowsports industry. Curriculum was developed collaboratively by snow industry representatives, SIA, and CMC faculty to establish nationally-recognized credentials. The program benchmarks industry-standard knowledge, awards nationally-recognized SIA certification credentials, and gives students a competitive advantage in the job market, with online refresher courses available before each certification test. Certifications are offered across Retail & Operations (SIA Retail Employee, SIA Retail Manager), Sales & Distribution (SIA Sales Representative, SIA Wholesale & Buying), and Marketing & Promotions (SIA Marketing, SIA Promotions). Courses are $250 each, or $199 for SIA members, with non-refundable course fees.
